Long before 'skin fitness' was a phrase, Carol Cole was teaching clients that the face, like the body, responds to gentle, consistent work. In 2005 that idea became a device, the first FDA-cleared handheld facial toning tool, bringing a professional technique into the home bathroom.

When was NUFACE founded?
NUFACE was founded in 2005 by Carol Cole, a longtime esthetician, with the launch of the first at-home FDA-cleared facial toning device. Two decades later the family-built company is still led by the Cole sisters.
What does FDA-cleared mean?
It means our microcurrent devices have been reviewed and cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for at-home facial toning. Every device is built to that standard, not a passing trend.
Are your products cruelty-free?
Yes. NUFACE products are never tested on animals, and we formulate without parabens, phthalates, or sulfates where possible.
